Bloom Steps is rooted in three essential elements: heart, footsteps, and home.

Heart reflects an awareness and a kind relationship with what’s inside (emotions, needs, thoughts, and felt sense) and what’s outside (other people, the environment, and activities).
Footsteps reflect a connection to reality, movement toward growth, intentional action, and an awareness of impermanence.
Home embodies a grounded sense of warmth, safety, and belonging within ourselves.

Bloom Steps is a free-flow integration of Western and Eastern therapy that pays attention to both head and heart, while respecting each individual as the master of their own life. There are elements of Emotion-Focused Therapy, Focusing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Schema Therapy, as well as person-centered and mindfulness-based approaches.
